Leave it to Menards to put things into perspective. Today I had many thoughts. Way too many to share in just one post. Before my husband and I left our home to run some errands, I received an email notification telling me that a blogger that I follow had just posted. Excited to have something to take my mind off of my own pregnancy woes, I clicked immediately on my iPhone to read the new post. This post was to tell everyone that this person could not have her own child. She could carry the egg of another, but would not be able to use her own.

To Anyone Who’s Reading
I feel guilty. I owe an apology to those who have been following me. Because I started this blog mainly for myself, I guess I forgot that in gaining followers, that there would be people actually wondering what’s going on with me…such a strange concept to think that people actually care about what I write sometimes…Anyways. I’m sorry. After a very sweet comment from mamamaryel, Continue reading
TweetMy Stretch Mark Prevention, and Post Baby Work Out + a Rambling on Teen Pregnancy (Video)
What was supposed to be a quick and innocent explanation about how I prevented getting stretch marks, and then returned to my pre-pregnancy size, somehow (as always) turned into something else. A small rambling on teen pregnancy. I feel like I am going to offend some teens that have babies, but I also feel like if I do, then they aren’t truly upset that you got pregnant so young. Any teen that wasn’t intentionally trying to get pregnant I think would agree, that it is something that should have been prevented and that shouldn’t keep happening. It saddens me that people take having babies so lightly, and that anyone and everyone can have a baby, but then some truly deserving people can’t. I just didn’t want to be one more person condoning teen pregnancy. Until kids are scared shitless about having a baby, it’s going to keep happening. It’s just like smoking cigarettes, you can tell them it’s bad, you can even show them the outcome, but as long as they see some positive aspects of it, like being cool, looking sexy, or fitting in? They will still do it. The sad thing is, getting pregnant is probably easier then buying a pack of cigarettes these days.
