I wanted to get this video up on Saturday, but like always, my schedule had other plans. Better late than never though right? Continue readingTweet
Tis’ the season everyone! Now that it is officially December, we can all decorate for the Holidays without being judged! Not that I would judge anyone for decorating sooner, I wanted to start right after I had my dessert on Thanksgiving day! My husband stopped me…
ANYWAYS! Today we decided that it was time to decorate! Since we spent the morning helping decorate our church, we thought we would spend the evening decorating the inside of our house. If you live in the midwest like we do, you would have experienced the same unusual heat wave as we did today. Because it was so warm out, it made picking out a tree a lot more pleasant, though I do miss the days when we would walk around in the snow searching for our perfect tree to cut down too…Tweet
Happy Cyber Monday everyone! Wow! How is it already Monday already!? Time seems to have just flown by. Ever since B.K was born my family’s weekends have been jam-packed full of things. This weekend being probably the busiest with Thanksgiving and travel.
Thursday (Thanksgiving day) we packed up all the kids and picked up my parents to head to my Grandma’s retirement home to celebrate the Holiday with a meal with boy her, my cousin Cindy and my Aunt Pat. My brother and his wife also met us there too. The drive there though not bad, was still an almost three-hour drive one way so we spent most of our Thanksgiving in the car.Tweet
After Friday’s two week’s post partum blog post, I decided that I needed a break. So this weekend that is what I did…I took a break from my usual busy schedule, and instead of trying to jam pack my weekend full of activities, I forced myself and my family to stay in and just relax. So other than doing some light housework and laundry, my goal was to say no to all invitations or activities outside of the house, and yes to low-key family time.
I’m happy to say that yesterday we were very successful. We started off the day by sleeping in, which is very rare in our household but with A at her dad’s for the weekend and Wy extremely tired from the day before we were able to sleep in till 10 (which after being up every other hour with the baby was a small victory)! Since we woke up late I decided to make French Toast for breakfast/lunch, otherwise known as brunch, and since babies always have horrible timing, I ended up feeding B.K while making food for everyone else as well No big deal, I’ve been in weirder breastfeeding situations…and probably will find weirder ones in the next year too.Tweet
